Hold The Rose Upto The Light
Thank you for all your cruel words
Cause the truth drives me
Gives me these insights to write
That someone so ugly can create something so beautiful
Is only because of the wisdom you bestow
Like a rose full of thorns, that grows in utter darkness
Underneath the coffin lid
But these beautiful little verses are the remants of my soul
So let those embers burn and know these was a light in my soul
