Hollow Poem by SINGH SINGH

Hollow

I feel so alone,
I feel so hollow,
Thoughts in my mind,
I am unable to swallow!

In midst of cheer and laughter,
Dullness surrounds me,
I look for a voice,
That used to surround me.

I do hear that voice,
But I can’t feel it now,
For hollowness has filled every space,
That I own now.

I did love that voice,
Though sometimes I hated it more,
Now that I don’t feel it,
I miss it much more.

My eyes do see life,
But they don’t live any more,
Though they appear to be dry,
But now are a wet shore.
Wet shore full with shadows,
I am unable to identify any more.

Hollow is my life,
It is not same as before,
True is this fact,
I should have swallowed much before.

life is unpredictable, the more we expect from it, the more disappointed we will be, hence its better to go with the flow and take life as it comes. liked the way you have depicted the harsh reality
