(#) Hollow Emotions Poem by Alice Cuenca

(#) Hollow Emotions

Rating: 3.7

...walking
along the shoal,
loosed-wavelets breaking
on her feet.unwavering,
washing away the dent
of discarded inhibitions.
a malleable heart, inept
of his adulterated ardour.

last night...
the masks were in disarray
caught in the rush of desire.
the conqueror was unrobed
but not his heart.
for to another, it is bound.

I really like this. My story for the past two years. 'the conqueror was unrobed but not his heart. for to another, it is bound' These lines are comforting to me.. Thank you.

Very intense and invasive expression of a man's hypocrisy in the society. Thanks for sharing. : : : the dent... of discarded inhibitions....a malleable heart, inept, , , of his adulterated ardour.
