Holocaust Remembrance - Poem by Stephanie Billman

1000 birds killed at night,
100 birds hid in fright,
10 birds took up flight,
1 bird stayed to fight.

Poet's Notes about The Poem

Translation:
Many people were killed in the Holocaust in Germany.
A lot dof the people tried to hide, but were found.
Some people ran from Germany to other countries.
Only a few actualy fought back and resisted.

Good thay you point that out.Evil will someday again raise it's ugly head to strike.
We again must make a choice, die, hide, fly, or fight back. (Report) Reply
