Homeless Poem by John Tansey

Homeless

Rating: 5.0

like the hawk, spiraling
on a downdraft
a suicidal freefall
crashing through rented
friends couches, onto the floor
and finally here, onto the street
wearing someone else's clothes
standing on a corner at night
in a city i do not know
