Homesick Poem by Bongiwe Tom

Homesick

Rating: 5.0

Missing them in tears
Missing them in fear
I feel alone
I feel they're gone
Through life they grow
Through life they go

This feels like night
Takes away the light
Darkness is too deep
Tears run too deep
The older they become
The colder life becomes

Far away they stay
In dreams they're vague
Missing them so much
Missing them so hard
So painful the feeling
So significant the meaning

So far it is, so cold it is
So cruel it is, so sad it is
Missing them so much
Missing them so far
Missing them so loud
Missing them with love
