Hope Poem by hari kunisseri

Hope

To the strains of music
I lose myself,
to the realms of
fantasy
in a world where
loneliness, pain, despair
are unknown.

once
i let my heart rule
then rued
why oh why
did i not take her
away

I shall live again,
like it was then.

for now I'm alone
and again at the
crossroads,
hesitant and wary
but filled with
hope,
that may there be
only
silver linings
and
laughter,
flanking me.
