This is a great poem about hope. The imagery of a bird complements the hopeful and refreshing tone present in the first two stanza's of the poem. Probably my favorite part of this poem would be the final couplet. Aside from making 'hope' sound as something dreamy and wishy washy (best wording EVER! !) , Dickinson introduces 'hope' requires something of us. To me this poem shows how beautiful hope is but how it is also tiring and sometimes difficult. (Report) Reply

One of the Iranian scholars named her daughter of Molana (Rumi) . I also like to share a short poem that I wrote as a tribute to Emily Dickinson:
I see you through your verses, when you stir alone.
I found a way to acknowledge you,
when your soul selects her own society
    the wind confirms you
the trees, the earth, the tears
and the people's awakening confirms you.
why I am searching you, if you are everywhere? (Report) Reply

Hope' is the thing with feathers—
    That perches in the soul—
And sings the tune without the words—
And never stops—at all— that's why I say- till there is sun shall not dew parish ....superb (Report) Reply
