Hopeless
Another blow
Flesh all splattered on the floor
my ears still carry the echo
my eyes red with unshed pain
I listen to sung words
to numb the ache
written words
to stop the bleeding
a hollow laugh
from my festering wound
I begin to hide
but where when everything
has just exploded?
