Hopelessly Intertwined (2005) Poem by Lillian B. Rose

Hopelessly Intertwined (2005)

Caught in flux, between what God has taught
And the modern mislabeled mesh of
Love's Lessons coming from you
Should I follow Cupid's Plan or Venus' Majesty
Is Love an ecstasy of escape in the fireball
Of a spell sparked by self-destructing stars
Or a comfortable chariot of acceptance
Leading to the Sun's Rays
The lines of falsehood I see written
In Love's Wake, the modern world's delusion
To hard to break as my innocent view
You can't see through or can you
Have we evolved My Love
Into somethign more destined for above
Where Angels play beyond our sight
As we lay here Hopelessly Intertwined
