Hotdogs And Beans Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Hotdogs And Beans

Those heard loudly complaining today,
Are the same people heard yesterday.
Debating how a can opener is used,
As instructed by directions.
They insist should be followed,
To remove the contents properly.
And neither is it a coincidence,
They are the ones still trying to impress,
With etiquette and attire at the dinner table.
For a meal of hotdogs and beans.
