House Blessing



My zen
a scarf on the wind
mottled in shades of blue

This corner of paradise
lush green, endless showers
limes a-plummet

An earthly beacon
to many a pleasant visitor
and welcomed surprises

My patch of blue sunlight
my prickly coat of chartreuse
a treasured land where the trees
entangle with the sky

This is, my happy place
