I watched as your house burned
You shall never return
I have killed your mom and dad
I've left you feeling sad
That is what you get for losing me
Now you shall never forget me
I shall be with you forever
Yes, we will be together
As long as this lasts
I'm waiting for you in casts
You shall heal from the wounds someday
And this one brilliant Monday
I have made you so blue
But only because I love you!
So marry me today
What happened yesterday
Is in the past
You're out of your cast
Forgive and forget
I will even let
You change me
So now can't you see?

Just the other day, I drew a picture of my ex's house on fire. I know that's really bad to do, but that's how I feel. This poem caught my eye because of that. Funny coincidence I guess.
