How Are We? Poem by Danny Draper

How Are We?

Rating: 5.0

How are we?

We are how!
Are we how?

How we are
And have been
Will always be
What lies within,
What lies between
And between entwined
Together we are
But one combined,
I am you
And you me
Onward we march
In true unity,
Be it love
As common decency
I'll treat you
As you'd me,
Hands reach out
And arms embrace
A timid smile
Welcome to place
Meals to share
Share a shelter
Shelter from harm
Harm no one
One common ethic
Mores and lore
Superficial our differences
Acceptance for sure
Assured in knowledge
We are same
Common of kin
Kindred in spirit
Destiny as community
Fellowship of humanity
Stewardship of certainty
Sustain and endure
Strive and prevail
Attaining a harmony
Ascending in wisdom.

How are we...?

We, are how!

Yes! This is it! How! The word to think about, the word to make a difference. We only need to question and we may find how to be in natural true unity. One day the whole world will do it to find out that true human spirit is loving and kind. Thank you for share.

It's like a celebration. Reassurance that everyone is connected even though people can be ignorant.
