How beautiful it shines
It’s deep and mysterious
We can dive in and explore
But we’ll never know
What truly lies beneath the surface
Clearly though we can’t see it
There is another world beyond
It’s always placid on the inside
And emotional on the out
Just like us only opposite
Both sustaining life and destroying it
It moves with the world
It changes the world
Deep and awesome
Its powers are substantial
We love and fear this thing
Yet constantly we destroy it
It Physically and Emotionally moves us
We abuse it just like anything else
If only everyone wanted it preserved
Oh how awesome it is
