How Can I Lose Poem by Nick Jordan.

How Can I Lose

I often wake up wondering
When will be my time?
Will I amount to anything
With these mountains that I climb?
Could it be I'm destined
For much greater things?
Can't help but feel inspired
Like a lord among celestial kings?

This is my time
I refuse to lose
Take a long and lonesome walk
In my custodial shoes

So Many times I've fallen
Picked myself up off of the floor
I could wait for a lifetime
For opportunity to come and knock at my door
It's time that I should throw myself
Into the the lions den
Either get torn to pieces
Or survive to fight again.

This is my time
I refuse to fail
What's the worst that could happen?
I could live to tell the tale!

About time I held my head up high
It's time that I let go
Life is no rehearsal
It's a once in a lifetime show
Start looking forward
Stop looking back
Time to take my dreams off hold
And get myself back on track.

How can I lose
With you by my side?
Keep on moving forward
No longer need a place to hide
