Here I sit alone,
Wondering how this has become,
After all that had happened,
How did we end with sadness and tears?
Baby how did we get here?

My sweet I'm scared,
That I'll never find another,
If I'm not with you
My soul cannot see further,

We were so connected,
I will never find that anywhere else,
I know now that I was protected,
I was safe with you.

No matter what life will bring,
If we just fight to be together,
I know that it will last this time,
because our love CAN last forever.

The stories we told,
The passion we hold,
Never fades,
And I am not afraid,
To be with you our future today.
