How Hard It Is To Be A Child Poem by Kimberley Gonzalez

How Hard It Is To Be A Child

I hate Waking up at 6: 00 a.m
Everyday, Either playing tennis,
Getting ready for school,
Or I have home work
That I have to do.
I hate it how 'Parents'
Force you to do home work
That you and they don't remember.
I hate it how we wont need some
Of the things we do in class
Like Math, Science.
I Hate it how Parents never
Understand how hard the education
Is now since we are in the future
A Different time from theirs
I hate it how you can't give your opinion
About what they do sometimes
I hate it how 'Parents' say
We are to be role models
And Say Please, Say bad words,
And Bad behavior around US children
How do they expect us kids not to
Say bad words, not say please
And to be so rude to them.
They ask where we get it from
We learnt it from the person
Who raised us, They say they are a shame
Of us, We are just reflections of them
So They shouldn't be really angry at us
They should be angry at themselves
Everything we do bad is their faults
We have their blood
So will be just like them but slightly different
Why can't they understand that?
