How I Wish Poem by Francis Salang

How I Wish

Hopes are like dreams
Sometimes do come true, sometimes don't
I tend to sing it through a song
And like to dance it on the dance floor

I'd like to drink overnight
Thought it would be gone
It's still left unspoken and undone
Will my heart be heard by someone

Come on hear me out
Dear I need you here
I needed someone badly
I got no one here but a can of beer

I am still waiting
I know no one's coming
Hopes are like dreams
Will it do come true

Let me sing it on this song
Or let me dance like crazy
These are just hopes
Like the ones I've been dreaming

Wanna flip a coin
Maybe you'd come and join
Then on the next day
I'm waking up alone in the bar
