How It Feels Like To Be Happy Poem by Francis Duggan

How It Feels Like To Be Happy

How it feels like to be happy i only know
That on bushes and trees happiness does not grow
I meet unhappy people every day
They could not smile for you if for a smile them you did pay
Our human moods often beyond our control
On the health of mind and body unhappiness does take it's toll
The financially and materially wealthiest person of the town
Is not very happy in her moods often down
A forty six years old grandmother she divorced her unfaithful ex husband three years ago
And now she believes that every man in the World is her foe
She is one of those love betrayed people who does generalize
But that anger and mistrust is eating her happiness she fails to realize
How it feels like to be happy ask one other than me
Since i am one of those who of cares is not free.
