How Much I Admire Her Poem by Francis Duggan

How Much I Admire Her

Rating: 5.0

How much I admire her in words I cannot say
From her something new for to learn every day
I've loved her since I was a very young boy
And learning about her I still do enjoy.

Her beauty I do not have to pay to see
Everywhere I turn to look it is all around me
She has inspired many a painting and story and song
I am one of her children and to her I belong.

Our very existence to her we do owe
Than Mother Nature a greater friend we do not know
The one who can create a beautiful flower
At her disposal she has magical power.

The years have left me looking older and gray
And in her earthy bosom my remains will lay
The Mother of the Seasons, Summer, Fall, Winter and Spring
Her praises I always feel happy to sing.
