How Time Flies By Poem by Jane Z

How Time Flies By

Rating: 0.5

Waking up to the same routine.
Music on, getting dressed, prepare.
Drifting away moments in your life...
As you follow it's syncopated beat.
Window opened, a rush of breeze familiarity
caresses with your thoughts.
Everything seems still, frozen.
Though you keep moving, the soul
seemingly separated from body
continues rhythmic trace of working pace.
In a swift click, everything comes
flowing back to me in a helpless millisecond,
realising half a years age
felt in one day.
How time flies by.
