How We Were All Killed Poem by Alex Adeoye

How We Were All Killed

No one could have known
How we all died
Because it was carried out
With modesty conceded under utmost secrecy
The condolence register
Which was written with green pen
Made it known that we were killed by experts
Their hand writing and contents popularized our death
Because it was published in news
The video footage of it on YouTube
Was an exclusive of their sons
For them to learn how to crush our sons
Who may want to avenge our death
When they might have gained strength to raise a sward
They cannot survive it, because it’s difficult for them to understand
The consequences of killing polygamy head.
Greed that fanned the fire of gluttony in their minds, burnt it all.
Our sons are naturally ready to die,
But not like us that were kill like fowl
There is coming a fight, it’s a survival of the fittest
I know strength reside with the determined
Our sons are ready, they are determined.
