Humorous Limerick Poem by Joyce Hemsley

Humorous Limerick

There once was a shy young lover,
scared to be kissed - undercover.
On the honeymoon night
he suddenly took fright
running full speed home to mother.

Mother said - 'Don't act so silly...
afraid of a kiss from dear Lily?
I've known Lil for years
she sure brought the tears
when she married old Uncle Billy'.
