Humour Squared Poem by Leon Moon

Humour Squared

And the diamond bird
Leads you to the whirlpool
That goes on and on

Daylight's a curse
And the cold wind burns
When you're on your own

Shadows disperse
As your freedom bursts
And your love returns

And the diamond girl
Leads you to the whirlpool
That goes on and on

Under this dome
Can't help but feel I'm alone
All I know is that I've got to show
You the paradise setting beneath your bones

And the cocoon grows
In the golden grove
Where the soul's never sold

If you give me all your love
Anywhere ill go
Will always be home

All that I know
Overflows
In your afterglow

And the cocoon grows
In the golden grove
Where the soul's never sold
