Hunger Thickening In Every Cell… Poem by poly Varghese

Hunger Thickening In Every Cell…

Hunger thickening in every cell…
The sea recedes in heart's arteries,
Wildfire, that knew no dreams, decamps…
A machine hand been raised in the moonlight,
prepares to retreat in the shadow…
As I alight to stroll through a worm,
the trail disappears between the breath and the sun..
Forests leap to swallow floods..
Lakes drown the doors..
Rains sprout through the grass's tongue…
while darkness drives silence to mate with amour,
someone plucks me through an aboriginal goddess of inception.
