I Poem by Rachel Butler

I

Rating: 3.5

(Dedicated to the unknown gardener)

Primrose, buttercups, forget-me-nots enfold my form.
Eternalness in laughter and solace,
innermost, flows a font of restorative
mellifluous waters.
Oak, cedar, banyan trees and pennipotenti are messengers,
mine.

A most perceptive glance at nature, at flowers that whisper of eternity; and trees which act as your messengers.Brilliant use of personification.

Primrose - five petals and says i can't live without you' Buttercups - humility, childishness Forget- me-not: Remember me for ever. How beautiful a person you are Ann! fragile as the flowers and as strong as an Oak and everlasting as the banyan trees. I hope the Gardener actually see the beauty of not just his garden but the untarnished beauty within you. I hope i'm somewhere close to the actual depth of those touching lines.Thank you Ann.
