I Accept A Taste Of Your Presence Poem by Stephen Martin II

I Accept A Taste Of Your Presence

I can't help watching you
I am intrigued by your every move
And NEED to know more

I don't come to your house
And listen at your wall
Or stare through your window

I don't rummage through your trash
To say I touched the things you touched
Or that I know your middle name

But I try to figure out
Tiny parts of your routine
To ensure our paths will cross

I accept a taste of your presence
I want more but...
My brain twists my tongue so I can't speak

What a beautiful poem of being in love or adoring someone. Very well said and said in a new, interesting way. Sincerely, Connie Webb
