I Always Knew You Poem by Maya Rehill

I Always Knew You

Rating: 5.0

I always knew you,
With your love embedded in my soul,

Loving you was my dream, with marriage my full time goal.
You we're my everything; being the one I looked up to.
Singing your praises was countless, as you really meant the world.
Loving you was my dream, with marriage my full time goal.

I always knew you,
With your love embedded in my soul,

The world was your priority with you as my sole.
Friendship, comfort, love was all I'd see in you and else was what I was told.
The world was your oyster and for me you were my very own.

I always knew you,
With your love embedded in my soul,

Leaving you a second, would be the last of my voice,
Letting you go would destroy me, until others opposed this choice.
