I Am... Poem by Cliff Marcenat

I Am...

Just as the sun kisses the moon goodbye
I sleep to the eternal slumber of your voice,
And once time decides to continue moving forward,
I wake to spend the time with the same person I last saw,
The warmth of the sun alarms me to the means of life
That is the time when we too exchange our means of heat,
Never to break you nor make you feel bad
But all to please you,
your mind, body and soul,
And, just like that life can change in an instant,
So therefore I would prefer not to blink so I'm never missing your commings and never going
All through that of time and space
I am known to others as The Forgiving Man,
But to you,
No,
For you,
I am The Main Man
