I Am Ghost Poem by Patrick Barongan

I Am Ghost

I am just a ghost to you,
I don't even exist.
This is a losing man's game,
I wonder why I persist.
You only take notice
When you are hurt that I'm arround
Then I'm nothing
Like I'm buried six feet underground.
My ghost watches sadly
As she sits there loving him
He's there when she's crying
With a look dark and grim.
His hate flows strong
When he sees the tears
He tries to shield her
From all of her darkest fears.
She doesn't see me
Even when I'm right in front
How long can it last?
I can't even speak or confront.
This ghost will go unheard,
And his love will grow,
While he breaks
Will a smile to show.
