I Am Just Filling In Poem by Bradley Lester

I Am Just Filling In

I'm just filling in, until she finds true love
And then I'll need to go, and fly away above
I'll stand aside for her, and let them both be free
They'll be together happy, despite it not being me

I'm just filling in, my contract will expire
And then I'll be no more, like ashes burnt out fire
To lay at rest at last, my mission will be done
I hope I did ok, they'll go and have some fun
