I am no longer the man
You take for a side dish; or the man you teased
I distanced my heart
Leagues away from love in words
Or climbing thorny trees for love
For every kiss, I kissed
Might give me strength and courage for more,
But in the end, I unearth pain.
I am no longer the man
You can fool and trade on,
Not that man you can tie -
With the rope of womanhood
I am no longer the man
You can save his telephone number
As boutique, salon or Cosmetic
Not that man who values rose
Or nags for bouquet of lilies
Or appetized by show of nakedness
I am no longer the man
That words, tears and smiles
Can lay bed for -
Not that man you can tranquilizes your stress on
When dumped by men with heavy wallets
I stand up tall - taller than any creature
And say nothing can shake my tail
Or move me
For I know, tears can be faked
Words can stir soul but;
Nothing except time can heal.
