I Am Old Enough - Poem by Shalom Freedman

I AM OLD ENOUGH

I am old enough
To know now
I will not walk
These streets forever.

Each day is a gift
I praise in itself.

Time Oh Time
I can no longer
Count on you.

Life Oh Life
You are what I heed.
