As I lay in my room, thinking on the befallen decree
The breeze ruffled my hair in a spree
I gazed up and saw the clouds gather in a rush
Everything became quiet, as if nature said hush
As the sky wore a heavy and dull black
I got reminded of what I lack
It was your love and only you
But you had left me without a clue
I wondered why and pulled my hair
You left me and never had a thought to spare
I cursed my fate and the luck that slid
You breathed your last before I did
I was told... the end would be soon
As quickly as the crescent becomes a new moon
I turned a blind eye and a deaf ear
I was elated with just you being near
But all now seems pale and wry
For now even my tears are dry
Oh! How much I wish this would reverse
For me not to love you sincerely as a verse
But I cant seem to help as I love you still
This will go only the day I become still
I lay shrouded in heavy blankets
My breathing could be heard in shallow snippets
Lying there I wondered why I was still breathing
Even though my heart had long stopped beating
I knew the reason why.....
To hold you for the last time and heartily cry
Alas, this is a wish gone waste
You sleep like a baby in your grave
But, my tombstone now has a message for you
Sweetheart! ! I am sorry for loving you.
With a hope that we meet in the after life
united for eternity as day and night! ! ! ! ! !
hmm beautiful piece and touching please dont stop your great work
