I Am Still Here Poem by Diana Miranda

I Am Still Here

You have made me love,
You have made me see
That troubles occur if one isn't free.

Why did you lead me on
When you knew it wasn't meant to be?
When we were two worlds apart then why did you believe?

I can't blame you for making me love,
Or making me cry
But I can blame you for walking out of my life.

You said, 'Miles didn't matter.'
That you would be always there for me,
But 4 months have past and your memory
Is all that is left with me.

I said, 'Let me let you go.'
But what's funny is that deep down,
You are still here even if your prescence
Is far-you will always be near.

You made me love and made me see
That you are the person that is right for me.
So if in fate's path you stumble upon
A distant memory of what we were
Don't hesistate and come back
And let yourself go.
