I Am That I Am! Poem by Robert Edgar Burns

I Am That I Am!

Whoever seeks light
For their own path,
I’ll come to them
Right where they’re at!

It is I AM that lifts the sea.
I move the tides, I sway the trees.
All can see Me if they only try.
I really am not trying to hide.

It is I whose will shall always be,
Caressing your skin with sunbeams free.
The Earth, the moon, the clouds, the sky,
I’m on the Throne that none can defy.

In the void of space and time,
Where stars collapse and birth, they’re Mine.
It’s there I draw whosoever will,
To where joy awaits and peace is still.

I live in the farthest galaxy,
Or in your heart for all to see.
I shall guide you if I only can,
Open your eyes, I ‘m The Great I AM!

I Am, the name that men do curse,
Or speak of reverently, but hide their purse.
I Am who waits when time is done.
The Great I Am, The Holy One!

It was I who cried at Adam’s curse,
And when My Son paid for your rebirth!
I’ll tell you of Me the best that I can.
My name is simply I Am That I Am!
