I Am The Cause Poem by Chris Townsend

I Am The Cause

I am quiet, I am so sorry for your doubt,
I have heard all your feelings, listen to you shout,
I want you to see, I am so deep in blue,
I am so sorry, this isnt aimed at you,
I cry to myself, all these times I am sad,
All the thigns that rotate make me so bad,
I know you love me i know you care,
I cannto live, to see this merry go fair,
I want to touch, just feel why you are here,
I want all these doubts, these clouded skies clear,
But then I see, the lovely person, this person I need,
I see all the things in life, that for god I plead,
All the times all the feelings, I dont want to let go,
All the reasons, this ring on my finger, this girl I know,
I am sorry, I am not what I should be,
Sometimes I wish, this caged animal to let free,
But in this doubt, in this careing, in this private place,
All I can see, a beauty, a quiet moment, your beautiful face,
I cry myself to sleep I am sorry I live,
All my sins, all those things I cant even forgive,
Still I awake and see you there,
I see all those troubles dissapear,
Why you stay, why you want to be in this pain,
Dont you think of the future, isnt this all in vain,
I dont know and frankly I am not sure I care,
All these dreams come together, all these shouts I hear,
My mind is perished within this vicious struglle I face,
I dont know my love, maybe it just aint worth the chase,
I give you a flower a precisou moment in time,
I give you this poem, my heart, a tiny life long rhyme,
I am sorry for dragging you into my perished cold drawn out war,
I just dont know where all this leads, there aint really an exit door,
Hold my hand show me its ok,
Take this heart, let me out to play,
Give me a freedom, give me some space,
I cant make promises, this is all said in haste,
