I Am Tired Of Everyday War, Poem by Liza Sud

I Am Tired Of Everyday War,

Rating: 5.0

I am tired of everyday war,
marking time at the same very level.
We (humanity) move for so long.
Make a seperate planet for devil!

Let him once again get your bright light.
Let him feel at last strong love-repentance.
I am tired of everyday fight.
In Your world - are there not enough places?

Enough levels for every -
for every desire or thought.
What for to get the light of Communion -
wasn't Lucifer brighter?

Can't you make enough vessels
(like peopple) and open You more?
My indifference colds me -
to who will be filling me Christ or...?

***

This is a bold poem, Liza, in which you face the Shadow side of the Divine. That's the term JUNG used in place of the word evil. And in his writings the Shadow must be integrated with the rest of the Personality to achieve Wholeness. Chinese thought has the same dynamic in the yin and the yang (Mr. Agape quotes the term below) , there is no struggle between Good and Evil in Chinese culture, so the concept of the TAO which contain both comes quite naturally as a Wholeness of Being. Your poem strikes me as a poignant plea for God who is all good to ease the stark conflict between good and evil by changing the nature of the Devil. At the end of liofe his Walt Whitman wrote a poem THE SQUARE DEIFIC which does just that - Father + Son + Holy Ghost + Lucifer = The Square Deific which is the four-fold image of Wholeness. I realize this is heresy from the Judaeo-Christian-Islamic perspective, but in the Far East it would make perfect sense. It's your opening admission I AM TIRED that makes me spell this out to you. I was really stunned the first time I read Whitman's poem; it went against everything I had been taught by the nuns and priests. B-U-T when you are tired of conflicts and disharmony such a vision of the Universe makes things whole, peaceful, attuned.
