I Believe Poem by David Duease

I Believe

I believe in morning dew,
And getting caught in the rain.
I believe in sunny days
And walks along the lane.

I believe in nursery rhymes
That put a child to sleep.
To dream of puppy dogs and fairies,
And never make a peep.

I believe in rainy days
That bring a lighting show.
I believe in fire and rain,
And newly fallen snow.

I believe in Christmas,
And the spirit that it brings.
Newborn Jesus in his crib,
Surrounded by three Kings.

These are things that give me hope
That this world is not so bad.
If you only take the time to see,
I know you won't be sad.
