I Believe In You Poem by Laquory Jones

I Believe In You

Chorus
I believe in you (Believe in you)
While placing all my confidence (through & through)
I have my faith and you have yours too
You know it's true two hearts of stone remains glued
While feeling your aura's hue engulfing every room
Who'd ever knew that dreams could come true
You asked me once if I'd ever believe
In what you could achieve just know that I do (I do)

Verse 1
I look into your eyes for a brief time
Slipping through your essence of your grapevine
It's beautiful when we become of like minds
I'll admit that I haven't felt that way in quite
Some time two branches of the same tree
Becoming uniquely interwoven through the
Same link at least that's how my mind sees
Every time that we meet just know that
You've become a stable like fine wine
Delicate yet intricate at the same time
Like two wavelengths combining at the
Same lines with all of your faith captivating
Divinity exhilarating all the energy through your
Femininity as it only heightens my masculinity
Just means I love with all of my being if you
Were in need of any clarity you're beyond unique
As I shout it upon the city streets

Verse 2
I'm writing this poem because when I'm looking into
Your eyes under milky silky skies
My words don't always seem to formulate
All the things that I really want to say
You see your mind is like a canvass
Painting pictures like a paintbrush
As it orchestrates a distinct touch
While accumulating colors through
Its central spectrum where only the two
Of us can really dissect them
Knowing our mirrored emotions can see
Inside its reflections I know I tend to reflect
Some, But someone like you only comes
Once in a generation, even once in a lifetime
Just know that to me your beauty is quite
Unique perhaps you've heard it a million times
This week but there's truth in what I speak
Let me know if you're feeling what I'm saying
