I Don't Ever Sleep Poem by Laquory Jones

I don't ever sleep I find myself living in my dreams
It never once occurred to me that through painted
Artistry I had already lived through centuries
It all became vague memories but I don't need
Any remembering it's through these memories
That I came alive it was through this time
That I breathed in life it was by your side
I knew right then I would survive
With ice submerged deep with-in my veins
Cold can be a heart but it can defrost
Once it finds the hot-spot
(but yeah might be by a long-shot)
But what's pain if love is all we got
So many people really sacrificed
Doing anything to get by and over
The silver line though
some never did at all

Do you not hear my beckon calls as water flows
Niagara falls the sky's the limit as it bleeds its blue
I fall into its desert hues just then clouds lifts me up
As the tears begins swelling up just then
Eyes begins gazing up at the stars I knew right then
That you would catch me after all with hearts and souls
Underneath it all I knew even before the fall
Just whom to call yeah we meet again
You're my starting line and where it ends
We had become distant friends
A neutral blend of second winds
I think that you should know

I don't ever sleep it's beyond belief the places I thought
That I could never reach it kept my mind at ease while
Breathing in It's peace and serenity
I never want the feelings to ever cease
(Why can't we feel like this forever)
It all became a mystery of what had occurred
Was it the dream or the pictures that had come first
Creativity is bound to burst wizardry is now at work
So I'm walking through memory lane
Where the sun meets the Moon on it's terrain
The sun asked it 'How it does? '
The moon says 'you don't know how to dream do you'
The sun replies 'maybe you can lend me a clue or two'
The Moon says 'okay this is what ya do'
'You swim the strong currents of the seven seas'
'The ripples are the life-long dreams'
'That leads to bigger things'
'Now close your eyes and picture these'
