I Belive Poem by Cecilia Riley

I Belive

I believe in the thrill of the chase.
I believe in the sweet music of a violin in a quite flat
I believe in the voice that says goodbye
I believe in the early death met with that goodbye
I believe in the tears & heart break of his friends
I believe he will live again
But most of all…
I believe in Sherlock Holmes.

Got a real chuckle from this one. I do hope you do not grieve too hard for this imaginary icon. But if you do, may it be an imaginary grief. Read mine – I Saw O’er Mist – Adeline
