I Broke Another Window Poem by Ace Of Black Hearts

I Broke Another Window

Am I wasting my time.
Throwing a stone through a glass window of a abandoned factory.
Who will hear me if I scream?
So much doubt in such a uncertain place.
What if there is no escape from this misery.
The anger builds twisted and turned into more determination.
I will not fall on my own sword.
I've been here so many times before.
Promises broken, a heart that's been stolen.
Removed quiet like in the middle of the night.
Thievery at it's best and worse.
Becoming so numb.
Wishing to be strong as I move on.
Off to the next.
I give you fire and you douse me out with water.
What did I expect.
Somethings are too good to be true.
Acceptance with dignity of humility.
There is always tommorow.
And I'll see you there.
I am not desperate enough, to beg or plee.
No matter the pain I feel.
I desire a certain amount of respect.
No matter the prospect.
Self worth, it's value can't be traded in for any kind of indulgence.
No matter the pleasure, or emotion.
Rags to riches, an illusion created with well crafted stiching.
Not my story, not my worry.
I will not cut into my soul for your benefit.
Either you'll accept me with all my flaws.
Or you won't call at all.
Goodbye till that time.
