I Chose The Spot Poem by Alethia (KM) ofthenorth

I Chose The Spot

You wait for the right word
or a place where it goes,
leaves, you me in some talked about better place
away from now... pick my goodness for me,
left dripping on deserved,
melting treats my mouth waters for.
There is no place more known then now.
And my mouth waters yours.
Decide is not a living thing.
Know is only kept if you keep it.
You tire me never after,
I wait in a spot of light in the dark that lasted.
Go ahead, break me, the pieces crawl back,
put me together where the light waits,
gathers, and keeps me kept.
