I Cry And I Cry Poem by Sandy Germain

I Cry And I Cry

When I wake up in the morning

I cry…

I cry because I forgive him

Forgive him for being good

Forgive him for being bad

Forgive him for treating me as an animal because he loves me

I cry because I can’t remember who he was

I cry…

I cry when I see his soul drowning for me

I cry when his words has stopped me breathing

and I cry...

I cry when his love has killed my soul

I cry when he hugs me

I cry when he slaps me

I cry when he gives me no hope

I cry when he lights my day

I cry when he makes sad

I cry when he makes happy

When I wake up in the morning

“Tifi, tifi, times to wake up! ”

It’s for my own but I cry anyway

I cry when his love run through my fingers

And burn my nails

I cry…

I cry because I know he loves me

I wonder and I cry
