I'd give my last breath
To breathe life into your broken heart
I would light a thousand candles to protect you from the dark

My fingertips have the power to dry your saddest tear
My shoulder could be your resting place
If you would only let me hold you near

Your smile has faded
This breaks me inside
Somewhere
Somehow
A part of you has died

You have closed the door on the world
Emotions spiralled out of control
Your body aches
There is nothing left to unfold

You can hold onto my dreams
I will give them all to you
Close your eyes
Dream away
Believe in what they can do

Here is my pen
Write what you choose
Let the ink print what you feel
Let the words explain your ordeal
