I Dare You Poem by huntress foryou

I Dare You

Rating: 5.0

Shattered pieces
swept together and
held by the thread of
your voice.
Strewn by the back
of your hand.
If I fall...
I will advert my eyes
as I get back
unto my
feet.
No! Not Once!
Not once shall my gaze
linger on you
reptile face.
Thus, do not waste
my time or your putrid
breath to greet me
on the street.
In fact,
I Dare You!
