I Deny Believing Poem by Darkness Herself

I Deny Believing

Rating: 5.0

I didn't really want to let you go
But I know that inside me I must
My heart said stay but it's my mind I must trust
We shared so much together
So much that I would never ever forget
We laughed, played, joked
Teased each others, quarreled
Spent such funny times together
Yet I still remember the night we spent
But now we must walk away from each other
And allow ourselves to heal
Our time's up though I deny believing

COMMENTS OF THE POEM
William Blake Beckett 08 April 2012

This poem has the feeling that the parting is because of death. Though, even if not, it still shows how being separated from a close friend or lover IS just that painful.
