I Do Like Winter!

He asked me how I like winter
I said that I do not, of course
Folks take for granted I love it
Because after all I’m just a horse

But it’s cold outside and icy
However there is one good thing
They put me in the barn more
More hay and grain they bring

They seem to pay more attention
To my every whim and needs
I do have more ‘people’ time
Not just when my owner feeds

So hey, I think I DO like winter
And the beauty is very nice
I’ll try to find the positive things
Not worry about the snow and ice!

Amongst the flowers I

my cup I asked the moon
to drink with me, its reflection
and mine in the wine cup, just
